These patterns represent all 45 of the scenes in Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel Ceiling and are available in book format. Two book styles are available: one in full color and one in black and white. Both books contain all the information necessary to stitch the entire 40" x 80" counted cross-stitch piece.
Although you may find patterns depicting parts of the Chapel Ceiling elsewhere, as an aggregate, you will not find a similar pattern anywhere. These patterns are not computer generated. The have been meticulously created one square at a time. This allowed me to transform the curved Sistine Chapel Ceiling into a flat pattern. Additionally, all the different individual pieces have been designed to interlock with the scenes around them.
With either book you may choose whether to recreate the entire Ceiling or single scenes. However, if you prefer to stitch only an individual scene, separate patterns are available. These individual patterns have been modified from the original to replace overflow stitches from adjacent scenes with background stitches, and square them off.
