History: The city of Carlisle Trace evolved through the years from hundreds of immigrants from foreign lands. The city, like all of America was another melting pot.
Populating the city, short stories
In the 1930s during the height of the Great Depression a young educator was teaching her government class in the junior high school. Her current project was to have her students provide oral presentations regarding their ancestors soliciting information from parents and grandparents. As the story unfolds the teacher discovered she was being threatened and the police were called to investigate. The short stories evolve as her students described anecdotes concerning immigration to the United States of America to their classmates.
