The Work of Thomas Paul {WORDWULF} SternerHowe

A Vanishing Face
Another song from 'Madman Chronicles: The Warrior.' Jennifer spends her first night in the labyrinth with Wulf. Vera, the computer lady, fires up the speakers and... Sometimes ya gotta slow down. This song gives me a chance to sing. I even took the time to practice and play that human voice keyboard thing. The guys called me Doctor Tempo. I don't believe they were being kind.

It's January 2004, the release date for my novel, 'Madman Chronicles: The Warrior'. I have written for forty years, 1993 to 2003 on this epic piece, 312,000 words. The rejections slips for my work are in milk crates under the stairs and still be added to.

In August 2002 'Swan Song' was printed in 'Skyline Literary Review', the first official acceptance of my work. Since then I have been published widely in print and online. I queried 'American Camp: Frail Monsters/Wounded Souls' to over two hundred agents and publishers and was turned down flat by them all. I belong to fifty writing group/communities. Every time I run an excerpt from this work I am inundated with requests to buy the book. I learned my lesson with 'The Warrior' about length and closed 'American Camp' down after 72,000 words. There will probably be four to six in a series following this family (my family) from the fifties into present day. So, once I have previewed a copy and am happy with the formatting I will promote it as I have found I have to do with 'The Warrior' even though I have a publisher.

I will also be uploading all the songs that go with these two novels and offering them free as addendums to the work. I previously displayed my work at True Fire and it is still there but have decided that Lulu offers the consumate artist, the renaissance artist if you will, a wider range of possibilities for displaying and offering his/her wares. True Fire is great for guitarzans and they are nice folk but I have had little luck there and will be working much more with my content here. So be prepared for uploads of a couple of dozen more songs, a wide variety of art and pictures, chapbooks, poetry and songs. I believe 2004 is the year for me. If you've taken the time to read this, I thank you.
