I think China is a must see. It has great cultural attractions including the Forbidden City, The Great Wall, The Summer Palace, The Hutong districts as well as a burgeoning art scene including the 798 Art District.

Mannequins Are No Dummies
I always wonder when I pass a storefront window that displays mannequins where
the mannequins came from. Some are so life like that you know they were created in
the image of someone who is or was once alive.
Every mannequin must have lots of stories to tell. None more so than the dozen or
so mannequins that “live” in front of Bill Riley’s Rusty Bolt and Thunderbird Trading
Company located in Seligman, Arizona. This tourist stop along old Route 66 has
Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and lots of friends posed in various positions on an
Edsel car parked on the street, on the roof of the building and along the building’s
store front. The first section of this book contains photos of these mannequins.
The remainder of this book has mannequin images photographed on our many trips
throughout the world. Images were taken in such far away cities as Varanasi, India;
Galway, Ireland; Cork, Ireland; Las Vegas, Nevada; Montreal, Canada and other places.

Japan

My personal favorite area of Japan is the City of Koyoto. Koyoto was Japan’s ancient
capitol and contains numerous gardens and temples, plus a great shopping district as well
as lots of night spots. The traditions of the Geisha are kept alive in Koyoto’s Gion
district’s private clubs and ceremonies.
